You already know the move. I help you make it.
Six weeks of 1:1 coaching to stop circling the promotion, the new role or the business you keep postponing, and make the move.
The quiz is twelve statements and takes three minutes.
The people who feel most stuck are often the ones closest to a breakthrough.
I'm Lilah Jones, an executive coach based in the Chicago area. I spent 20 years leading revenue teams at Google, Microsoft, Oracle and Dell EMC. That means you get advice from someone who has sat in your seat, not just studied it. Now I coach high-performing professionals 1:1 through the career and business moves they keep postponing.

What you could do in the next six weeks
The move is often not the exit. It is the thing you have been performing around.
Here is what my clients have done. They come in with different questions: a promotion, a new role, a business idea, a number to hit. They leave having made one of four moves. Which one is yours?
They ask for what they are worth.
- An executive at a title company presented her compensation case and left with a three-year pay roadmap.
- A leader at a supply chain software company sent a formal promotion request and turned down an outside offer.
- A senior manager said no to a bigger team that came with no added pay.
They choose the role instead of drifting.
- An enterprise sales leader worked a 15-company pipeline, reached second-round interviews, and stepped into a bigger, customer-facing role.
- A speaker and coach landed a new role building nonprofits for military families.
- A sales leader at a global tech company decided to stay, then introduced herself by email to the whole North American sales team.
They start the thing on the side.
- A new coach reached out to three people and ran her first coaching sessions within two weeks.
- A sales leader delivered a paid keynote.
- A speaker's app brought in about $1,000 in three weeks, and two corporate speaking engagements were verbally confirmed.
They get visible.
- A senior manager posted her first LinkedIn video and launched her coaching website.
- An analytics lead held a skip-level meeting and set up regular time with a mentor.
And their numbers moved while we worked together.
- A sales leader closed $6.3M against a $5.6M target, then finished the next quarter at 211% of quota.
- A sales manager's team hit its quarterly number with a month to spare.
In their words
"Her method is more focused on me helping myself, instead of a coach acting as an outside influence."
"I feel more focused, intentional, and clear about what I want and what it's going to take to get there. Learning how to tune out the noise has been a total game-changer."
"I am convinced that I can actually do much more than what I am doing today."
"Working with Lilah helped me overcome challenges of balancing my career with my wellbeing. She provided me the tools and support to help me navigate through a rough transition."
"The ability to listen and communicate clearly with purpose and direction."
“I was so stuck. I thought nothing was going to move ahead. But right after the first session, I got so motivated. Where I am right now, I feel so proud of myself that, like a phoenix, I came out of the ashes.”
Anjali Krovvidy
Sr. Enterprise Technical Architect
“Stop relying on validation externally. Getting that confidence has made a difference for me, both from a professional level and also from a personal level.”
Theo Wise
Leadership Coaching Client
“I was really just unsure of myself. I hadn't found my own voice. Building that tenacity of a lion transformed how I see myself and approach my career.”
Kara Chan
Director of Operations
"I have been promoted to manager and your session has made me conscious of how I approach these conversations with my direct reports and any situation in general where I need to give feedback."
Doubt is the source of all failure.
The people getting the opportunities you want are not smarter than you. They're not more qualified. They trust what they already know, and they act on it.
Six weeks, built to get you moving
Ambitious people rarely need more time. They need a container: a clear start, structure, someone holding them to it, and a finish line. That is why we work in six weeks.
-
Session 1, week 1
Clarity
We find the real issue under the one you came in with.
-
Session 2, week 3
Design
We build a plan that fits your values, and we check how much it resonates before you commit to anything.
-
Session 3, week 6
Activate
You make the move you have been performing around, with support through the messy middle.
What is included
- A short onboarding week, with an assessment that names the patterns keeping you stuck
- Three 1:1 sessions with me on video, two weeks apart, so you act between sessions instead of only talking in them
- The Positive Intelligence mental fitness app, a few minutes a day, so you catch the doubt before it makes the decision for you
- Voice notes with me on WhatsApp between sessions, so your momentum never waits for the next call
- A written summary after each session, so you always know your next step
Your first move opens the next one.
Not because they are stuck again. Once one move lands, the next one comes into view: the bigger role after the promotion, the second client after the first.
You will leave with tools you can use without me. Staying is how you fall in love with the next version of you.
- One client finished her first program, came back for a retainer, and stepped into a bigger role during it.
- A sales leader who continued into a second phase reported a quarter at 211% of quota.
Three ways to keep going
Another six-week sprint
A fresh container for the next move, with the same three-session rhythm.
A monthly retainer
Two short sessions a month and voice notes in between, for a standing thinking partner.
The six-month Activated Leader Transformation
A longer engagement for a full leadership shift, with in-person sessions available as an add-on.
Every past client can also keep the mental fitness app going for a full year through the Activated Sage Membership.
Is this for you?
Most leaders already know the conversation they need to have. They are waiting for permission. Nobody is coming to give it to you.
It is, if
- You are a director, VP, senior manager or top individual contributor who is good at your job and restless in it.
- There is a move you keep circling: a promotion, a new role, a business of your own.
- You keep collecting information because it delays the discomfort of acting.
- You want a thinking partner who has carried a number, not a cheerleader.
It probably is not, if
You want me to hand you a plan, or to buy your excuses. I won't do either. I ask more than I tell, because a plan you did not choose is a plan you will not follow.
Questions people ask
Who does Lilah Jones coach?
I coach high-performing professionals, mostly directors, VPs and senior sales and tech leaders, who are stuck on a career or business decision.
What results do coaching clients get?
Most clients make a specific move: they ask for a promotion or raise, choose a new role, start a business alongside their job, or become more visible. 77% of my recent 1:1 clients made a clear move, and two stepped into next-level roles within months.
How long is the program and what is included?
Six weeks, after a short onboarding week. You get three 1:1 sessions two weeks apart, an assessment, the Positive Intelligence mental fitness app, and voice notes with me on WhatsApp between sessions for accountability.
Why six weeks?
Because ambitious people move faster inside a container. A defined start, structure, accountability and a finish line keep the work from drifting.
What happens after six weeks?
You decide. 65% of my clients keep working with me, through another six-week sprint, a monthly retainer or the six-month Activated Leader Transformation.
Can I work with you while I am still employed and building a business?
Yes. I built The Activated Leader alongside my role at Google before leaving after nine years, and I coach clients doing the same.
Is coaching virtual or in person?
The six-week program is virtual, with every session on video. In-person sessions in the Chicago area are an add-on option with my other programs.
What is the Activation Methodology?
It is my four-stage approach to getting unstuck: Acknowledge, Align, Activate, Amplify. It is also the basis of my keynote and my book, Activation Required.
What are your credentials?
I hold the ICF ACC coaching credential and am a certified Positive Intelligence coach. I teach at Northwestern Kellogg and at Suffolk University's Sawyer Business School.
How do I know if it is a fit?
Start with the Activation Quiz, or book a conversation. I will ask how ready you are on a scale of 1 to 10, and it is fine to say you are not there yet.
Are you stuck, or just standing still?
The Activation Quiz is twelve statements and three minutes. You get your Activation Score, your traveler type, and the one move to make this week. From there we can talk, or not. Either way, you move.
With clarity, Lilah
